They were specifically damaged beyond repair. Golden Freddy being in Molten Freddy is just outright pure speculation. It makes more narrative sense for Henry’s plan to have missed them completely. Similarly, extended media shows Afton was so weakened by the fire that it took Golden Freddy’s effort just to keep him alive, and even then he couldn’t sustain him forever and his body eventually exploded, spreading his weakened remnant.
